This are interesting questions. Looking forward too to MEZ answers. btw 
I do since a year an old style log (only basic html). In the mean time 
more and more people start asking about feeds, etc. Am considering 
wordpress but I like to understand what I'm doing, wordpress is all so 
wysisyg.

seems that blogspot took some pages offline because of complaints of users.
