Hi Alan - thanks!

Whatever we think is *really* going to happen at the turn of the century, 
it seems to me y2k at least presents an incredible opportunity for bringing 
into the foreground systems and assumptions that have been thoroughly 
embedded (just like those pesky chips) and taken for granted.
