1. Critical art and theory are very much related to history.

2. Theory, publishing of sources, media history, and intertexuality, are
each important as themselves: sites, installations and performances.

3. Understanding the media, medium-based art works, the Digital
Bauhaus, Open Access, networked communities and the semiotics of digital
expressions, are all key issues in reconciling and connecting the many
different understandings, criticisms, and identities involved in digital
culture.

4. There are digital geographies, languages, psyches, technologies,
politics and histories.

5. Mappings of cultures, histories, and archeologies of digital space
do not interpret it.

6. All hypertextual additions to the different visual, textual and musical
digital worlds are each enmeshed in the perceptions and the understandings
of these.

7. Interdisplinarity seems to diminish the divide of different art
forms, sciences and cultures, and to reinterpret notions of subjectivity:

interdisciplinary practice needs platforms where the reassembly of
knowledge can become meaningful in respect of the actions of artists
     and cultural and media workers.
