This doesn't make much sense to me. My partner has been studying darwinism 
in a grad. course at nyu (her major is environmental conservation), and 
genes are obviously integrated into contemporary evolutionary theory/ 
practice.

The url you gave sounds interesting.

I wonder how many here have actually read Darwin. He wrote an amazing book 
btw on the twisting of plant stems that predates but relates (I think) to 
L-systems.
