Maeda Keizo (producer, Conversation) vol. 006

Back from Europe, I'm as snug as a bug in a rug here in Tokyo.
The cherry blossom season is mostly a rainy season. Time to play,
cry and scream, laugh and have fun -- all under strange excuses.
This time I'm going to write about the dance performance Strange
Kinoko have shown the other day at the Claska hotel in Meguro.

Vanity presents Nag Nag Nag

With psychedelic, punk and new wave, the wildest movements of
music going hand in hand with fashion took place especially in the
1960s-80s. In the last couple of years, updated versions of these
styles have surfaced in electroclash and discopunx, and the hip and
the beautiful these are days gathering at London's club event
"Nag Nag Nag" to celebrate the return of glam and glitter.
This April, the party comes to La Fabrique in Shibuya, as part of
the popular Vanity event. Jump into your funkiest outfit and don't
miss the club edition of the recently released NNN compilation,
with sounds from the hayday of electro and new wave (including of
course Cabaret Voltaire's early hit "Nag Nag Nag") as well as
artists representing the 2004 style, such as Atomizer and Pedro
Winter from the Daft Punk Crew.
