Vol. 072: Zheng Yi Visits Japan

Invited by Japan PEN Club, American resident Chinese author Zheng
Yi has visited Japan, where he took part in a public conversation
with Oe Kenzaburo (October 7, Japan Press Center Hall). Zheng Yi
gained fame with "Laojing" (Old Well, 1984), which was adapted
for the screen by Wu Tian-Ming in 1987. After the so-called
"Bloody Sunday" of the Tian An Men massacre in 1989, he was put
on the Chinese wanted list as a leader of the democratization
movement, which forced him to go into hiding. He finally found
exile in the United States, where he has been living since 1993
as an author of the Chinese rustication generation.

Kosuke Tsumura: Un Format Stage 2

Under the direction of designer Tsumura Kosuke, fashion brand
FINAL HOME is presenting its new line. So, basically you're
right when you think it's a fashion show, but a look at the
participating artists will tell you that it's much more than
that. The spectacle features electone performer Tucker, an
original sound/system design by Arima Sumihisa, a "love arm"
performance by Ujino Muneteru, and finally a show performed
and choreographed by Matsukage Hiroyuki! Especially the latter's
haphazard style putting strong emphasis on accidental,
"happening" kind of elements promises a great performance.
Go and dive in a flood of light and sound.
