PROJECT BY ARTIST IGOR ANTIC:

Attention, please!

Your cooperation is needed until the end of February.

At the moment, I am working on a project called ""Kiosquekiosk". This
project
will simultaneously develop over the internet and in a gallery "Clark" in
Montreal.

Every day compatible/comparative newspapers will publish certain news to
which
readers can react in English or French (the two languages of Canada), via
text
or pictures. Translation from other foreign languages will not be feasible
due
to the large amount of information. Something which is sent in today as a
reaction of one reader, tomorrow can already be a piece of news to which
another reader will react, staying within the suggested subject(topic).

Consequently, it is possible that one agency's information is skewed in an
unexpected direction; that it is made into a work of art, a critique, a
fabrication, a joke, a survey about a hidden side of an event, instantaneous
philosophy, or brown-nosed and sensationalistic journalism. Thus, the
reactions of readers can be subjective. They can weave the web of real and
made up institutions and individuals.

My jobs consists of collecting and publishing information. Censorship will
be
used only in messages with offensive and discriminatory content. Old news
will
be archived, the new will be "updated". This way the newspaper will grow
over
the period of two months; its founding subject matter will be taken into new
directions. The progress of the project can be followed via internet at
http://www.kiosquekiosk.free.fr, or directly at the Gallery CLARK in
Montreal
(Galerie CLARK, The
Fashion Plaza, 5455 avenue de Gaspé, Montréal QC
Canada H2T 3B3).

I'm inviting you to follow this project and actively participate by sending
your reactions to igor.antic at free.fr.

Wait for the first piece of news on December 1, to see what the deal is.

Thank you for the interest and future cooperation. Please forward this
information to a large number of people.

Welcome to "Kiosquekiosk" !
