Milcho Manchevski's DUST opens in New York and Los Angeles on Friday,
August 22.

DUST is an unorthodox celebration of the art of storytelling. The
fractured plot straddles one century, three places and many genres,
moving between New York City today, the Wild West and Macedonia under
Ottoman rule. DUST tells the tale of a dying storyteller, a thief,
two cowboy brothers, a guerilla leader and his pregnant wife.

It is written and directed by Milcho Manchevski, the author of the
Oscar-nominated Venice winner BEFORE THE RAIN.

The ensemble cast includes Joseph Fiennes (SHAKESPEARE IN LOVE),
David Wenham (LORD OF THE RINGS), Adrian Lester (Peter Brooks'
HAMLET), Anne Brochet (CYRANO), Rosemary Murphy (TO KILL A
MOCKINGBIRD) and Nikolina Kujaca (WELCOME TO SARAJEVO).

Director of photography was Barry Ackroyd, production designer David
Munns, costume designer Ane Crabtree, editor Nic Gaster, and the
music was composed by Kiril Dzajkovski.

DUST opens in NY at AMC Empire 25 (234 West 42nd St, 10036,
212/398-3939). The LA theaters are ArcLight Hollywood, 6360 Sunset
Blvd, Hollywood, and Loews Cineplex Beverly Center Cinema 8522
Beverly Blvd., West Hollywood.
