ART & TECHNOLOGY
Art & Technology at the IT-University of Göteborg is a new international Master's program, which will accept its first students in September 2002. It consists of two years full-time studies.
  The program is intended both for students with a scientific or technical background who would like to explore artistic ways of expression and get an in-depth knowledge of computer graphics and sound technologies, and for artists from different genres who want to learn how to use the computer as the powerful tool it really is. An introductory semester with basic mathematics and programming for artists or an introduction to artistic means of expression for students from science and technology is adapted to the individual background of the student. Theory courses are combined with projects and workshops where students with different backgrounds collaborate, with internationally recognized guest teachers acting as advisors. Public exhibitions and performances form an important part of the program.

And notice that seemingly complex sciences and research topics like
Artificial Intelligence, Neural Networks, Evolutionary Algorithms,
Autonomous Agents, etc does not necessarily involve scientific reports,
research results or conferences, but can just as well be about a stupid pig
standing in a corner burping or a bunch of gnomes munching candy, or just
about anything, really.
