-A friend of mine, who is of French/German descent
 and speaks both languages fluently as well as being
 reasonably good at English and Dutch, said to
 me that learning and speaking a different then your
 own also teaches you a different way of thinking.
 More or less sugesting that language is an
 embodiment of thinking.
