Designing Hybrid Wearables

In these action-packed three days, we'll look at clothes and  
jewellery, and their potential as personal mobile platforms for  
social interaction. Wearables are about merging what you wear with  
(communication) technology.

This is one of the first workshops in Europe around the beautiful  
Lilypad Arduino, specially designed for use in Wearables. Interaction  
designer Dana Gordon and researcher Jean-Baptiste Labrune share their  
expertise and assist workshop participants in designing the nature,  
the context and the electronics of their own hybrid wearable.  
Participants should have some experience in designing and/or  
electronics.
