There are many good artists and good projects that are selected
to represent a country's culture, and there are many good artists
and good  projects that are never selected. Nevertheless, this case of
cancellation reveals a hidden mechanism that uses art, artists
as alibi for maintaining a power structure. 
I am sorry for not being able to upload the protest letter
to the syndicate webpage, its content says a lot more about
the context and the case.
