he cancellation of a project for obscure reasons indicates
power games on the ground of art and the validation of the plans 
of the curators instead of a supportive background artistic projects. 
This case after the cancellation of the project of Sanja Ivecovic some years
ago
certainly shows certainly that the Croatian art scene is much dependent 
of an administrative system advancing a strange cultural policy,
where also the position, attitude of the curators is inexplicable.

Dear Anna Balint, dear Marina Grzinic,

You might have already heard about it: again the commissioner & curator of a
Croatian pavilion kicked out the selected artist. This time it happened to
David Maljkovic, who was appointed to represent his country at Biennale di
Venezia. This is an alarmingly similar case to what happened to Sanja Ivekovic
3 years ago.


it is the highest honor for an artist.
