same thing can be said with psychedelic music: how can one compare the double
album from the Pink Floyd "Ummagumma" and the crappy stuff they made after?

same thing can be said with industrial/noise music, btw: COUM transmissions
(which gave throbbing gristle, coil, nww, etc) is in no way mainstream as NIN
can be. (i like NIN, it is good pop, but that is not the point. the point is
where art stops to be art to become leisure product)
