And re: Manovich - there's a lot of stuff I find doubtful re: his use of 
film theory and constant description. In the last thing re: remix - it's 
interesting that at the SLSA (Society for Lit. Sci. and the Arts) conf. in 
Chicago, remix culture and books like More Brilliant than the Sun were hot 
stuff as was Darwin, an odd remix together themselves. - Would like to
