Subject: Note towards a foundational phenomenology of analogic/discrete
     'domains.'

hi Alan. you previously wrote about the analog and
digital in relation to probability and possibly with
questions as a type of superposition - with judgment
or decision of something that may be suspended in waves
of options simultaneously, to become a particular choice.
this realm is where to me it seems logics change, and the
idea of paradox has some utility between transformations
  of analog/digital, particle/wave, binary/trinary (?) where
'the question' may exist between these states or as a state
of question/unknown/neutral. i do not know. though to me it
is a question directly related to in electronics hardware,
and the schematics of analog-to-digital (and vice-versa)
convertors, the chips themselves and their processes may
be a type of writing or analysis of these conditions of
relating the realms, in the physical, of these ideas.

it would be interesting if a type of 'analog/digital'
gallery realm would open up, which could likewise bring
different approaches into functional relation, similarly.

also, the one difference in your most recent last post
on these ideas, i tend to think it is in terms of the
hypothesis and not theory so much or as much, relating
conceptually to probabilities and distributed outcomes.
i think this is the fulcrum of problems with language-
based thinking that is a logical fallacy to equate the
two, and has also become a question of dogma in relation
to believing vs. questioning, law prior to knowing, etc,
that empirical data builds on and does not just invent/
declare (plaguing much 'digital/media' discourse, imo).
i love these considerations as a conceptual territory
for clarifying such ideas in relation to the physical
environment of artifacts, such as the chips and coding,
which (electronically) could ground so much experience
if it could be related to similar ideas and thinking.
electronics fuse the same things, the math with the
language, the science with the art, logic with belief,
hardware with software, digital with analog, waves
with particles, code with processing, etc. and may
have established a framework that could clarify it
in an artifact, how these concepts relate and with
  reverse-conceptualization may offer a diagrammatic
(visual) approach to understanding the continuum,
or how the gap is bridged, etc. i have no idea how
to read this in-depth, the chips, though the context
or general zone and this electronic landscape is a
place that may contain and reveal these mysteries.
