Update on Bosnian-American Voting

I certainly disagree with Bosnian Congress about voting for Bush 
because of Dayton Agreement. First, as a resident of the US, I would 
not let myself be influenced by the unsatisfying results of one 
foreign treaty, over the unsatisfying conduct of the entire foreign 
policy by the present administration. Second, while neither endorsing 
nor rebuting Holbroke as the Kerry's probable Secretary of State, I 
would like to remind everybody about how influential SoS is really on 
the foreign policy: just look as how much Colin Powell influenced the 
decisions of the present-day administration...

ps - yesterday I visited a couple of Bosnian owned businesses in 
Astoria. they are predominantly cheering for Democrats. some even 
have "Kerry for president" stickers on their doors...

1. GLASAJMO ZA REPUBLIKANCE ZBOG HOLBROOKA

Richard Holbrook je glavni Kerry-ev savjetnik I kandidat za Drzavnog
sekretara SAD. Postavlja se pitanje: Sta je Holbrook uradio da bi 
zasluzio da zamjeni Colina Powella na tom visokom polozaju. Koliko 
znamo jedina "velika" stavka u njegovoj biografiji je takozvani 
Daytonski mirovni sporazum. Sta god da je Bush uradio u zivotu nije 
toliko zlocudno kao sto je svrstavanje na stranu genocida I 
nagradjivanje cetnckih zlocinaca sa drzavom, Republikom Srpskom, na 
teritorijama etnicki ociscenim od Bosnjaka. 

Demokratska, Clintonova, Gore-ova Holbrook-ova administracija nije
zaustavila useljavanje iz Bosne u Ameriku, ni 5 godina poslije 
Daytona. U tom periodu iz Bosne je iselili 250,000 Bonsjaka, uglavnom 
mladjih ljudi. To je gore etnicki ocitilo Bosnu nego cetnicki 
genocid. Bush, kakav god da je, zaustavio je to etnicko ciscenje 
Bosne, dao nam kakvu takvu sansu da sacuvamo domovinu.

Zato smo odlucili da pozovemo sve prijatelje Republike BiH u USA, kao 
i Bosance I Hercegovce u USA, koji imaju pravo glasa da glasaju za
Republikance, da Holbrook I slicni znaju da im nikada necemo 
oprostiti zlocin kojega su ucinili nasoj domovini.

VOTE FOR REPUBLICAN TICKET

Richard Holbrook is Kerry's adviser and his candidate for Secretary 
of State. The following question rises: what did Holbrook do to 
deserve to replace Colin Powell on the high post? As far as we know, 
the only "big" item in his resume is the so called "Dayton peace 
accord".

The truth about this treaty is that in Dayton Mr. Holbrook rewarded
Serbian aggressors, the party that committed genocide, by creating 
the so-called Serbian Republic on the ethnically cleansed area of
Bosnia-Herzegovina. In the situation when perpetrators of the 
genocide were defeated and when the Bosnian army was quickly 
liberating the country, Mr. Holbrook legalized half of the country 
for them, and thus forever preventing Bosnians, the victims of 
genocide, from returning to their homes. Legalization of genocide is 
an even worse crime than the genocide itself.

By helping make the genocide so successful for Serbia, Mr. Holbrook
betrayed the American people who requested something to be done FOR
BOSNIA, and not against Bosnia. Mr. Holbrook also betrayed the 
Bosnian people who believed him, and he did it in the name of the 
USA, a country that before his deeds, had supported the Bosnian just 
cause.

Bosnian patriots in the USA ask our fellow Bosnians, as well as all
friends of Bosnia, to vote for Bush and Powell rather than Kerry and
Holbrook, and to not reward those who destroyed the constitution of 
our country, the Republic of Bosnia-Herzegovina.
