_this project follow the theme of previous art event realized in
smaller city called
Zrenjanin (80 km from the capital city of Serbia) titled as “the
transformation of an
unknown city – occupation of the space”.


_the transformation of the space, at the end is the activity of a
subject in the objective sphere
of a personal expression; knowing this, the space always shows as a
personal category – as a space
of a personality / author; according to this, the transformation of
the space is transformation of
a personality – affirmation trough artistic practice / artistic act.

_the major idea in preparation of this event was the alteration of
the body through local and global
view and body as a sign it self.
_according to the heritage of the body art which first gave the
meaning of specific artistic media
of expression/work to the body, this project is made as a review that
will give information about
different ways of changing of the body as medium as well as a social
category transformed /expended
by modern society, finding a new function in virtual reality / virtual body.

_content
3 days – video projections / performing art, body art / presentation
of local authors, specialized
galleries, centers for performing art events in the region including
foreign authors.
_selected material is mainly the review of a performing and body art
presented in former Yugoslavia
collected from authors, artistic groups, and different organizations.
