Getting the taste of ones own medicine

"It's appalling," said Representative Bob Goodlatte, a Virginia 
Republican, commenting WTO ruling ruling that the United States 
policy prohibiting online gambling violates international trade law.. 
"It cannot be allowed to stand that another nation can impose its 
values on the U.S. and make it a trade issue." It is of course OK to 
make a trade issue of anything and everything when the beatified U.S. 
wants to impose its values on other nations. But one single defeat, 
and Republicans already cry uncle: the message they are sending to 
the rest of the world is that the free trade sucks, if they don't 
win. They are such bad sports.
