How many US media mentioned the arrest of former Chilean dictator
Pinotchet in the context of his U.S. sponsor, Richard Nixon?
Zero.

First he raped him, then Mexican immigrant National Guardsman killed
the Iraqi underaged boy.
Spoils of war?

National Democratic Institute for International Affairs (NDI),
chaired by Madeline Albright, and the International Republican
Institute (IRI), chaired by John McCain, are on the ground in Iraq,
making sure the elections procede as smoothly as American did.

While soldiers are lacking armor in the on-going Iraqi carnage, the
over-priced missile defense shield's test failed (again). Kerik
scandal dramatically overshadowed the real story of the Ohio vote
recount. Kerik's sacrifoced himself for Bush's Vaterland. And while
Bush was busy this week, promising to destroy American pensions
system, he still had time to authorize use of dogs on detainees in
Iraq and elsewhere that fit his unlawful combatant description. Well,
even Russia passed the anti-terror law authorizing secret searches
and wire-taps. So, why should America be any worse? Plus, he promised
to let those who want to do jobs Americans don't want to do for
miserable pay stay legally in this country. How thoughtful and
generous of him in the time of giving.

Particularly telling of the urge to have it your way whatever it
takes is the latest scandalous crime that fills the headlines. A
church-going christian woman killed another woman (possibly pagan?)
to steal her 8-month old fetus, because she lost hers. Baby was
delivered by the self-taught caesarean section, and is alive and
well. Mommy, of course, died. She was aborted.
