SPECIALE PROGRAMMA'S IN HET FESTIVAL
Gesprekken met kunstenaars: KAI KALJO
Vertoning korte videotapes: SHORTS

KAI KALJO: vrijdag 16 mei om 20.00 
Al jaren toont het World Wide Video Festival het eigenzinnige en
humoristische werk van de Estlandse kunstenares Kai Kaljo. Dit jaar is een
speciaal programma aan haar gewijd waarin zeven werken van haar op groot
scherm in het auditorium te zien zijn. De werken Mirage en Greetings from La
Jolla beleven hun Europese première op het festival. Kai Kaljo is zelf
aanwezig om toelichting op haar werk te geven.
Op woensdag 21 mei om 18.00 zal het programma opnieuw worden vertoond.

Programma korte videotapes 'SHORTS': zaterdag 17 mei om 16.00 en 18.00
De vertoning van speciaal voor het festival geselecteerde korte videotapes
van kunstenaars afkomstig uit de hele wereld met zeer uiteenlopende thema's.

De volgende kunstenaars zijn aanwezig om hun werk nader toe te lichten:
Bernard Debaillie (Isle of Dogs), Brian MacDonald (Sex+Sadness), Laurent
Vicente 
(o.a. Les doubres), Nik Kern (Mountain Mover), Pierre Yves Clouin (o.a. Thé
au riz)
en Abdelaziz Taleb (o.a. Wonderwall).
Op zondag 18 en 25 mei om 14.00 en 16.00 zal het programma opnieuw worden
vertoond.

SPECIAL FESTIVAL PROGRAMMES
Talks with artists: KAI KALJO
Screening of short videotapes: SHORTS

KAI KALJO: Friday 16 May at 20.00
For years the World Wide Video Festival has shown some of the unconstrained
and humorous pieces made by the Estonian video artist Kai Kaljo. This year
the festival devotes a special programme to her work, showing seven of her
pieces on the big screen in the auditorium. Mirage and Greetings from La
Jolla have their European premiere at the festival. Kai Kaljo will be
present to discuss her work.
The programme will be shown again on Wednesday 21 May at 18.00 hrs.

Programme of short videotapes 'SHORTS': Saturday 17 May at 16.00 and 18.00
A programme of short videotapes selected especially for the festival, all
with a wide range of themes by artists from the world over. The following
artists will be present to discuss their work: Bernard Debaillie (Isle of
Dogs), Brian MacDonald (Sex+Sadness), Laurent Vicente (including Les
doubres), Nik Kern (Mountain Mover), Pierre Yves Clouin (including Thé au
riz) and Abdelaziz Taleb (including Wonderwall).
The programme will be shown again on Sunday 18 and Sunday 25 May at 14.00
hrs and 16.00 hrs.
