  Much time has passed since our last newsletter. We must apologize for the
  silence. Rest assured that Videotage is still alive and kicking! You meant
  to be receiving a brand-new version of Videotage newsletter, but due to some
  technical problems, you¹ll have to wait until next month. For the time
  being, check out the news below!

  1.  Beauty and Meaning - International Video art Cycle @ The 14th Macao Arts
  Festival
  The Video Art Cycle will be presented daily in the auditorium of the Macao
  Museum from 14 -16 March starting at 4pm, with a special presentation by
  curator Hanspeter Ammann on 15 March (Sat).Videotage will go to see the show
  on 15 March, if you fancy joining us, please register via email:

  Centre, Sheung Wan, HK at 2:30pm.

  2. Experimental Intermedia Workshop @Videotage
  The workshop consists of 14 two-hour lessons on two softwares: Final Cut Pro
  (Editing) and Cinema 4D (3D-Animation). Sponsored by HK Arts Development
  Council, the course is free of charge. However, seats are limited to 14.
  Registrations are opened on first-come-first-serve basis. All participants
  must submit a finished work in a form of video upon finishing the programme.

  lessons will take place at Videotage on the following dates: 15-16, 22- 23,
  29-30 March; 5-6, 12-13, 19-20, 26-27 April; 3- 5 pm on Saturday; 11 am- 1
  pm on Sunday.

  3. Videotage @ Transmediale 03, Berlin
  Earlier this year, Videotage was invited to present Hong Kong videos and
  also a post-screening talk at the annual Transmediale International Media
  Art Festival. Held in Berlin from 1-5 February, the theme of this year¹s
  Transmediale is ³Play Global². The event consisted of conferences, talks,
  workshops, installations, exhibitions, screenings, performances and club

  4. Videotage Online Gallery Calls for Submissions
  Do you want your work to be shown at Videotage¹s official website? To
  encourage individual artistic expressions, our Online Gallery invites media
  artists and students alike to submit new works. They can be web-based,
  electronic projects or videos. Contributions in the forms of articles and
  photography concerning media art are also welcome. For info and enquiry,

  5. Did you know that Hong Kong was still last night?
  The exhibition features five artists from London: Guy Bar Amotz, Olof
  Bjornsdottir, Lisa Cheung, Anthony Key and Yeu Lai Mo. They create new works
  (or adapt existing works) with relation to Hong Kong and their audience.

  7. Goethe Scholarship 2003
  Arts Administrators, artists and journalists are welcome to apply for the
  Goethe Scholarship 2003. It offers a 4-week intensive German language course
  at one of the branches of the Goethe-Institut in Germany, accommodation,
  weekly allowance, health insurance, air-ticket is not provided, however, a
  subsidy of up to 800 Euro can be granted if applied for. The successful
  applicant must take up the scholarship by December 2003. Application with
  full resume and a recent photo should reach the Goethe-Institut Inter

  8. The Opening of OX WAREHOUSE in Macau
  Macau's new landmark of cultural and tourism "Old Ladies House" is now under
  renovation, the residing art association "Old Ladies' House Art Space" is
  temporarily moved to the former municipal cattle depot to continue

  9. Canadian Film Festival 2003
