Yesterday, during the visit of US State Dept officials in Zagreb,
Croatia did not sign Article 98, becoming the first country of the so-
called "New Europe" to do so.
Countries that signe Article 98 comit themselves to protect
AMerican troops from International Criminal Court.
Today, Belgian government said that genocide law will stay just as
it is.

DN List - 13-06-2003 - Rumsfeld's Waterloo
If you believe that Friday the 13th brings no good news, then read on:
The Belgian government just announced that it will not amend the
genocide law which makes it possible to try genocide and warcrimes
committed by whomever, whenever and wherever. Minister of Defense
Flahaut said that the US must realise that it cannot impose its will on
other countries. The news follows Rumsfeld's barely veiled threat,
yesterday in Brussels, that the US would seek the relocation of NATO's
headquarters, presently based in the Belgian capital, if the law was to
remain in place.
