On Tuesday 1st July FACT will be launching ITEM, a pilot research 
and
development programme aimed at exploring and developing the 
potential
of new media tools for exhibition and exposition.

ITEM will be providing 6 - 8 bursaries to artists and 
technologists
to work together on joint projects for completion by September 
2004.
