Celebrating the official release of On Paper, Crónica 005~2003, we are proud to present two acts by Sebastian Meissner, one of the heads behind b.Z_ToneR's 2 tracks in On Paper.
As Klimek, Sebastian Meissner will first perform in Porto on a smooth Thursday evening. Then we will follow for the release parties, first in the "movida" city of Vigo and then back home for a grand Saturday night!
In all these, the video work of Ran Slavin (the other half of b.Z_ToneR) will be presented during the performances.

Lia, Crónica artist and founding member has been awarded a Prize of Distinction at the Net Excellence section of this year's Prix Ars Electronica with her Re:Move project ( http://www.re-move.org )
"Black and white Shockwave projects allow the visitor to create images as well as view previous images. Lia's pieces in the re-move series have been refining much of her earlier outputs in more focused pieces at turux.org. The pieces provide the tools and the framework for elaborating the compositions but simultaneously do not allow for a full control of the output, as their dynamic nature makes them evolve and mutate and their presentation is void of operating instructions of any sort, leading the user to hands-on experimentation."
Lia will be present at the Ars Electronica festival in Linz, Austria, in early September. Stay tuned for updates on the festival's program.

Para comemorar o lançamento oficial da quinta edição da Crónica, On Paper, orgulhamo-nos de apresentar dois concertos de Sebastian Meissner, um dos responsáveis pela duas faixas de b.Z_ToneR na compilação On Paper.
Como Klimek, Sebastian Meissner apresentar-se-á primeiro no Porto, para uma calma noite de quinta-feira. Seguir-se-ão depois as duas festas de lançamento, primeiro em Vigo e depois de volta a casa no Sábado à noite.
Em todas estas noites será também apresentado o trabalho videográfico de Ran Slavin (a outra metade de b.Z_Toner).

Sabemos que nem sempre é fácil conseguir encontrar as edições da Crónica à venda. Somos vendidos aqui e ali pelas melhores das mais pequenas lojas, mas também estas nem sempre são fáceis de encontrar... Em pessoa, e em Portugal, os sítios mais imediatos são os do costume: Matéria Prima, no Porto, Ananana e Flur em Lisboa. Se o mail order em Portugal for uma opção, podem também contar com elas.
No resto do mundo, e desde Abril passado, as edições da Crónica estão também disponíveis através da m.dos, que nas suas próprias palavras são "a melhor loja de discos online" e a afirmação é modesta. Por isso, agarrem no cartão de crédito e apontem para http://www.mdos.at/labeldetail.php?id=4059
