I've got this patcher which does a fair amount of OpenGL 3D stuff -
some grids, spheres, translucent planes, that kind of thing.

When I open the patcher, it eats 30Mb. When I close it, I get back
10Mb. When I open it again, it eats another 30Mb. And so on. If I keep
doing this (or just developing and re-loading sub-patchers) I pretty
quickly run out of graphics memory, or start getting freezes or image
corruption, even when there's a fair chunk of application memory
available, and the Jitter frame rate seems to slowly get worse as
well.

Quitting and re-launching Max fixes things fine.

I don't know what happens under OS X, and my Pismo is so slow for
Jitter that I'll probably die of starvation before I can find out, but
I'll try...
