Ah! a very good choice of word, Alan!

Indeed, your works' delicateness (even when you are dealing with 
harsher subjects) is perceptible and I agree that they are "likely to 
vanish like vapor".

On my end, they are ephemeral: lasting one day in my inbox and then 
fading, replaced the next day by other crop.

But how can you be sure you are known only for one thing, when there 
are so many ways people categorize each other and that some may 
remain unknown to you?
