Hello ,

NAVINKI 2003. The  5th international performance festival in Minsk.

The festival will take place 5-8 September in the Museum for contemporary
visual arts and PallMall club, Strochicy village.
The main idea of the 5th performance festival Navinki2003 is representing
performance art to wide audience. The festival will be extended with
exhibition and lectures program in the Museum for Contemporary Visual
Arts, there will be exhibited photo, video performance documentation,
artists' photography, drawings, texts, theoretical researches.  

The long term aim of the festival is developing actual arts and solid
basement for contemporary culture in Belarus on the basis of cultural
exchanges, creative partnership, in-between artists and audience.
Annually the festival presents dozens of foreign artists to Belarusian
audience.

Participants are invited by the organizers.
The festival take place the fifth time and considered to be the most
significant performance event  in Eastern Europe. In 2001 on the AMORPF!_
01 converence in Helsinki the festival was accepted to be a member of
IAPAO - a world wide network of performance festivals www.iapao.net
