digital film students amsterdam

Dear list,
the international Institute where I teach design and film (sae amsterdam) starts this November a digital video directoring course of 1 year. Is anyone on this list also a teacher in a (digital) film school? 
I know of some digital film festivals. Does anyone here have a personal experience with presenting work for such a festival?
