"Night Vision" is a group show of artists who are influenced by
technologies developed by the military, government intelligence agencies,
and NASA for use in research, surveillance, and combat. Pieces on view
range from an arcade game that charts the advance of U.S. military forces
on Taliban strongholds to an FBI-inspired software program that captures
data from the gallery's local area network and reinterprets it in visually
manipulative ways. Whether by co-opting these technological advancements
or by examining public perceptions of them, the artists in this exhibition
explore the various murky implications surrounding their uses.

Opening reception: Friday, June 14
