Beyond Music Sound Festival
Aug 1 - 4, 2002
Los Angeles

Beyond Music Sound Festival will feature performances, installations and
projects, by leading artists from around the country and abroad, that explore
sound as a medium for experimental practice. As the fifth annual festival, this
year's will aim to contextualize and amplify the diversity of sound practice
through the themes of space, language and the body, and the ways in which sound
both complements and problematizes their stability and coherence.
