DECLARATION


Impelled by the canceling of the participation of Ms. Sanja Ivekovic at the Biennale in Sao Paolo, the Centre for 
Women's Studies wishes to express its concern over the possibility that the international reputation, which has been 
built over many decades by this artist, will be brought into question. The Centre regrets that this dispute was not 
resolved in a way befitting to the dauntlessness and talent of artist Ms. Sanja Ivekovic and curator Ms. Leonida Kovac.
