Citizens of over 20 towns in the US  passed resolutions urging 
federal authorities to respect the civil rights of local citizens when 
fighting terrorism. Similar actions are currently underway in 60 
other places, and seem to be contemplated nationwide by 
Americans who still hold their Constitution and their liberties dear. 
This attempt to contain federal administration's assault on civil 
liberties will probably spread, weakening federal government. Well, 
Bush always wanted weaker government, didn't he?
