Petition in Bosnian

Unless the unsavory law on citizenship in Bosnia dated January 1, 
1998 (article 39, paragraph 1) is repelled, most of the nationals of 
Bosnia and Hercegovina who acquired second citizenship in 
countries of their exile during the years of war, will lose their B&H 
citizenship on January 1, 2003.

Bosnia and Hercegovina should not force its citizens to face a 
choice between abandoning their new homelands and abandoning 
their own homeland. Particularly because those who acquired 
second citizeship, acquired it through the refugee status, and the 
refugee status was granted to them, because Bosnia and 
Hercegovina could not provide them with the protection of their life, 
rights and property.

Now, it seems that it was their fault that they had left, and, 
therefore, they are punished by having them loose their ancestral 
citizenship. That's simply morally wrong, and needs to be stopped.
