Again, what are you talking about? A lot of intellectuals I know have laid
the lives on the line to speak out about things. Where on earth do you get
the idea that they have power? Does Chomsky legislate?

Your generalizations are so broad, that, at least to me, I can't make
heads or tails of them. Have you read Regis Debray on the subject? He's
about as much of a dissidant as you'd want.
