Please - if you receive this and are in New York, send email letting us
know you are ok.

This should hold in general - phone lines are down, including cellphone
lines - it's very difficult to get information. But the internet is
functioning as usual - I'm writing this from Miami telnetted into a New
York server.

Please let us know - write to the email list or for those I know (the
bcc's), please email me personally.

Also want to say that it is a time to communicate as much as possible; the
email lists serve well as sources of information, cross-talk.
