interfilm's 17th international short film festival takes place over the 
course of six days: November 6th - 11th 2001. The festival's film venues 
include: Filmkunsthaus Babylon, Filmtheater Hackesche Höfe, the 
flex-gallery Meinblau as well as the 'Volksbühne am Rosa-Luxemburg Platz' - 
Further festival events and get-togethers will be housed at the 
Festival-Cafe, Akkreditierungstreff and the After Festival Lounge.

Of the over 2000 submitted entries - 300 films, varying from two seconds to 
20 minutes in length - will be screened. A wide array of film categories 
and styles are represented among the selected films - animation, fictional 
films, clips and documentaries just to name a few! International judging 
panels will award more than 33 prizes.

Numerous pieces of special programming are presented alongside the competition.
