The poetic title "Shadow of a Shadow" points to the precarious relationship
between the real and its virtualisations, which becomes experiential to us
only by calling up data in the specific forms of an evermore complex system
of networked old and new media. It is the real/virtual architecture of the
characteristic entrance hall of the radio-building in Graz which for an
hour connects itself live with the virtual spaces of different
transmission- and recording technologies and to the different real and
psychological spaces of the listeners/users, which at once, is "site",
"content" and "instrument" of the live-project.
