How are you doing?

My life is completely upside down.

I'm teaching IN NEW JERSEY of all god forsaken places.

Beth and E are back in SF. We talk daily on the phone
and I send E lots of post cards and little gifties.

I'm teaching web design, digital illustration, and
type design. next semester I'll be switching away from
digital illustration to Flash programming and
developing a curriculum for an interactive arts major.

If it all goes well, I will be offered tenure track
next year. At that point Beth and E. move to NJ and we
rent a place for a few years until my tenure becomes
finalised. Then we'll consider selling. But we might
not - it mightbe better to simply buy another place
here in NJ.

I am DEEPLY conflicted about this deal here in NJ.

I really don't like the place. And given the DISMAL
future of petroleum, NJ might not be the "best place
to live" in the next several decades...

What are you up to? How are you doing? I have to go
teach class now - but reply and I'll fill you in on
more.
