IAF 04 Tijuana

IAF 04 is a festival dedicated to creating and maintaining alternative spaces
for expressing audio-visual multidisciplinary art in the Mexico/U.S. border
region. The geographical location here is crucial for the already existing
cultural and economic exchange that takes place here on a daily basis. The
festival serves as a meeting place for the international digital art community.

Theopening of IAF 04 will be at cinema latino in downtown Tijuana, the oldest
running movie theater in the city, as well as Cine Bujazan, which was
originally opened in the early forties.

This year has numerous audio performers, ranging from J.rocc of the Beat Junkies
and Cut Chemist to Plankton Man (ex-Nortec) and Smoke. Also are a host of Vjs,
many of which will be using Vidvox equipment for their mixes, such as VJ SaL
(Tijuana), VJ Canis Latrans (San Diego), and DVJ TJ (S.D.).
